A little history about us....
'RCM Entertainment' was started by New Jersey native, Ray Cordts in 2003. The name originated from the days of CD burning when Ray would make himself & others music mixes on CD's called RC Mix's. Around 1997, when Ray was about 17 years of age & working at a local bowling alley, his father had started to bring him along to his DJ gigs where Ray started to use those CD's & others at these private events. At the time, the business that Ray Sr. had went under the business name 'Unchained Melodies'. Within a few years of Ray Jr. joining the business, the company was renamed to DJ's Ray & Ray as Ray's passion for music became was very prevalent. By 2003, Ray & his father decided to part ways as the business was handed over to Ray Jr. The company name was changed to 'RC Mixer's DJ Entertainment' & overtime the business grew to more than just DJing. By 2013, Ray Cordts had officially launched a trivia aspect to the business & soon after a photo booth & equipment rentals. By now it was evident that the name should be changed yet again to 'RCM Entertainment' as the name "mixers" was only causing confusion.
Over 20 years after joining his father's business, Ray's vast collection & knowledge of music has no limit. On every performance night there is a different selection of music played in accordance to the crowd. DJ Ray & his partners never use playlists as we would much rather be able to read a crowd & their reactions before choosing the next song.
As the business continues to grow, we are continuing to expand the business & its offerings. In addition to DJing, we now host private & public trivia & bingo events & provide photo booths, karaoke & equipment rentals. Down the road, we hope to offer more fresh new ideas. RCM Entertainment always strives very hard to provide a stellar service wherever they are & will settle for nothing less for the importance in building a good reputation with our clientele.

RCM Entertainment recently performed at my wedding. They did a great job and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a DJ. Ray made the experience very smooth and easy. The music selection was fantastic. The dance floor was busy the whole night with people from the age of 10 to 85. They kept in contact when there was any question like the length of a song for a dance like a mother-son dance. Also, the preparation for the day was fantastic. We could always contact Ray at anytime. We had some versions of songs that were not easy to find but Ray found them with no problem. RCM did a great job and they would do a great job for your event as well.
Today I received a call for a reference for you from Matt. I only had wonderful things to say & hope it brings you additional business. People want you back for another party if we ever get married again. LOL!

Now that the school year has come to an end, I finally have a moment to again thank you for your service! We could not have found a better DJ for our wedding reception. Your ability to work the crowd was incredible. Throughout the evening, guests commented on how much fun they were having & now month's later people continue to tell us that the reception was the best they have been to. I think that these comments are truly reflective on your expertise!
